Class 2 Driver (Category C)Location: AvonmouthContract: Temp to PermHours: Full-time (45 hours/week), 6am-4pm , Monday-FridayPay Rate: £17.75 per hourIf you're looking for consistent driving work with a clear route into a permanent role, this temp-to-perm Class 2 Driver opportunity is a fantastic fit. You'll join a busy, growing distribution operation in Avonmouth , delivering kitchens and kitchen units to both residential and commercial customers as part of a two-person crew.What you'll be doing:* Deliver kitchens, worktops, cabinets and related products to customers* Work alongside a driver's mate to complete safe, efficient deliveries* Load and unload vehicles, including heavy and bulky items* Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift* Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately* Deliver a professional, courteous customer experience at every site* Follow road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures* Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthyWhat you'll bring:* Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence* Valid Driver CPC* Valid Digital Tachograph card* Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations* Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting/manual handling* Strong communication and customer service skills* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamAdditional information:* Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to applyYou'll get full induction and training , ongoing full-time hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
