Pay: £18 to £22 per hour

A temporary opportunity is available for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Solihull. This role is suited to an experienced driver who is confident completing retail store deliveries and providing a reliable, professional service.

Key responsibilities

Complete planned retail store deliveries safely and efficiently
Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
Load, secure and handle goods in line with company procedures
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain relevant delivery confirmations
Maintain high standards of punctuality, customer service and professionalism
Follow all applicable road safety, transport and site procedures

Skills and qualifications

Current HGV Class 1 driving entitlement
Required Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Experience of retail store deliveries
Good knowledge of road safety and drivers hours requirements
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Professional communication and customer service skills
Physically able to support delivery and handling duties where required

Benefits
