Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Job description

We are working with a reputable local law firm based in Belfast for a Solicitor to join their Clinical Negligence team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a growing litigation team, advising and representing individuals across personal injury, clinical negligence and wider litigation matters. The team handles cases before both the County Court and High Court, offering exposure to a varied caseload and the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility for matters.

The role involves managing a caseload, drafting legal documents, correspondence and pleadings, conducting legal research and assisting with the preparation of matters for trial. The successful candidate will liaise directly with clients, Counsel, courts and other external parties, prepare instructions to Counsel, manage discovery and case documentation, and support the wider team throughout the litigation process.

• Clinical negligence background;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Strong work ethic;
• Ability to meet demanding caseload;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
• Technically excellent.
