Senior Project Manager | Defence | Stevenage / Bristol | £50,000–£56,000
A leading defence organisation is growing its Project Management function and is looking for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of medium to large-scale defence programmes.
This is a hands-on programme delivery role for someone who wants to work across engineering, technical, commercial and operational teams within a complex defence environment.
The role:
- Lead projects from planning through to delivery, with responsibility for cost, schedule, risk and overall performance.
- Manage and influence stakeholders across a large, multi-functional and international organisation.
- Support bidding, estimating and contract activity alongside core project delivery.
- Drive effective project governance and help teams deliver against challenging customer requirements.
We're looking for:
- Project or Programme Management experience, ideally within a complex or matrix organisation.
- Strong experience across risk management, scheduling and cost control.
- Experience with EVM, schedule management or schedule risk would be advantageous.
- Bidding and estimating experience.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Package:
- £50,000–£56,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working, 2–3 days per week on-site
- Stevenage or Bristol
- Company bonus up to £2,500
