Position: HGV Class 1 Driver

Workchain is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client in Tamworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This will be a mix of general haulage work on a curtain sider/trunking. Starts range from on average 12-13 hour days. 2 - 3 drops a day! They also run on Saturdays if you want them.

This is block bookings with immediate starts runs are given the night before via text.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
- Conduct vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- CPC qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver
- Good communication and customer service skills
