HGV1 (C+E) Day Driver

Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to support one of our valued clients with ongoing holiday cover requirements.
This role offers block weekly bookings, regular day shifts, minimal manual handling and immediate assessment opportunities.
The Role

• Monday to Friday

Start times between 05:00 - 05:30Average 8-9 hour shiftsDelivering goods to trade and commercial sitesOperating curtain-side vehiclesGoods unloaded by FLT at delivery pointsMinimal handball involvedOngoing holiday cover with block bookings available

Pay Rates

• £17.00 per hour

£22.50 per hour overtime rate after 10 hours worked per dayWeekly pay

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

Valid Driver CPC Qualification CardDigital Tachograph Card6-12 months Class 1 driving experienceNo xohmjla more than 6 penalty pointsGood understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time RegulationsReliable and professional approach to work
