Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers for ongoing healthcare supplies distribution work with one of our trusted logistics clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional 7.5T Drivers looking for regular work delivering essential medical and healthcare supplies to hospitals, healthcare centres, medical facilities, GP surgeries, and community healthcare locations across the local area.
The role involves delivering goods on roll cages, completing between 5 and 8 drops per shift using a tail lift and some handball to safely position deliveries within customer premises. Routes are local, allowing drivers to return to the depot each day while providing an important service to the healthcare sector.
Drivers can choose from Monday to Friday day shifts or Sunday to Thursday night shifts. Shift lengths are typically 10 to 12 hours, with all work planned in accordance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and current transport legislation.
This is an ongoing opportunity offering competitive PAYE rates, weekly pay, and the chance to work within a professional and supportive transport operation.
Pay & Progression

• Days (Monday to Friday): £13.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Delivering healthcare and medical supplies to healthcare facilities

Completing between 5 and 8 deliveries per shiftOperating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle safely and professionallyUsing a tail lift and roll cages to complete deliveriesCarrying out some handball when positioning goodsCompleting vehicle safety checks and defect reportingAccurately completing delivery paperworkProviding excellent customer service at delivery locationsFollowing Drivers' Hours and road transport legislationMaintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

Requirements

• Valid UK C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence

Valid Driver CPC CardDigital Tachograph CardPrevious 7.5T driving experience preferredGood communication and customer service skillsPhysically fit and comfortable with manual handling dutiesReliable, punctual, and professional attitude xohmjla Ability to work independently and as part of a teamLegal right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to provide the required documentationMillison Chase Limited does NOT sponsor work visas
