Are you a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and helping customers get the most from their accounts? We're looking for an Internal Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Role
As an Internal Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of customers while identifying new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity. You'll focus on growing customer spend, increasing product penetration, and building long-term relationships that deliver value for both the customer and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through outbound telesales activity.
- Identify opportunities and provide same-day quotations where possible.
- Increase the range of products sold to existing customers.
- Build strong customer relationships to maximise account spend and retention.
- Achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activity to maximise customer engagement.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Self-motivated and target-driven.
- A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experienced in sales, account management, or customer service.
Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, along with knowledge of customer sales cycles and account development.
