7.5t HGV Driver

Job description

We are seeking skilled and reliable 7.5t Drivers to join our team, completing deliveries and collections in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas on a Monday to Friday basis (with occasional weekend work available). Start time will be 9am.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Collection and delivery of goods to the required location (handball)
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience:

• 7.5t licence (C1)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• Clean Driving Licence and 2 years driving experience preferred
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
