HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers | Suffolk (IP30) | Competitive Pay & Benefits

Our client is a family-run haulage and logistics business, proudly operating for over 40 years from the heart of Suffolk. They specialise in warehousing and UK-wide distribution and are now looking to expand their driving team with:

1 x HGV Class 1 Driver

\n

1 x HGV Class 2 Driver

\n

About the Class 1 & Class 2 Driver Role:

\n

\n
• UK-wide palletised deliveries and collections

\n

• Curtain-sided vehicles

\n

• Occasional container work and shunting between Felixstowe Port and base

\n

• Some nights out required

\n

• No London driving

\n

• No weekend work currently

\n\n

Working hours:

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday

\n

• Start times from 3:00am (ideal for early risers)

\n

• Guaranteed 50 hours per week contract

\n\n

Pay & Benefits:

Requirements (Class 1 & Class 2):

\n

\n
• Minimum 6 months HGV experience

\n

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence

\n

• Up-to-date Driver CPC

\n

• Experience with curtain-sided vehicles

\n

• Confident using straps to secure loads

\n

• Professional, reliable, and personable attitude

\n

• Willingness to do occasional nights out
