We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of our client based in Fakenham.\n \nThis is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work, a competitive £20 per hour rate and a minimum 10-hour daily guarantee.\n \nThe role involves delivering a range of commercial goods using a curtainsider vehicle, including paper reels, timber and various building products.\n \nThe Role\n \nDriving a Class 1 curtainsider vehicle\n \nLocal and regional deliveries from the Fakenham area\n \nOccasional multi-drop deliveries\n \nLoading, securing and transporting a variety of goods safely\n \nCorrectly using ratchet straps and other load-securing equipment\n \nEnsuring all loads are safely secured in accordance with regulations\n \nCompleting delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records\n \nProviding a professional and courteous service to customers\n \nCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects\n \nAbout You\n \nWe are looking for drivers who are:\n \nClass 1 (C+E) qualified\n \nExperienced driving a curtainsider\n \nConfident using ratchet straps and securing loads\n \nComfortable handling a variety of loads, including timber, paper reels and building materials\n \nPrepared to undertake occasional multi-drop work\n \nReliable, punctual and professional\n \nSafety-conscious with a good understanding of drivers' hours and relevant legislation\n \nCustomer-focused with good communication skills\n \n??
