People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Tramping Driver to join our well-established client based in Manchester. Shifts

\n

 • Monday to Friday (all week tramping)
\n  • Start times from 6.00am

\n

Rates of Pay

\n

 • £19.00 per hour
\n  • £26.00 per night out allowance
\n  • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

\n

As an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramping Driver, your duties will include:

\n

 • Safely transporting goods to customer and client sites
\n  • Operating and driving Class 1 Tanker vehicles safely and efficiently
\n  • Completing pre and post vehicle inspections
\n  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
\n  • Adhering to all traffic laws, ADR regulations, and company procedures
\n  • Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
\n  • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
\n  • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly

\n

Essential Skills

\n

As an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramping Driver, you will need:

\n

 • Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence
\n  • Minimum of six months ' Class 1 driving experience
\n  • Valid ADR Licence
\n  • Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
\n  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes
\n  • Good level of spoken and written English
\n  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
\n  • Good understanding of driving laws and regulations
\n  • Effective communication skills

\n

Desirable Experience

\n

 • Previous commercial driving experience
\n  • Previous ADR driving experience would be advantageous
\n  • Previous tanker driving experience would be beneficial

\n

Training Provided

\n

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment

\n
