Role: HGV Class 1 Drivers\n Location: Minworth, Birmingham\n Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off\n Contract: Temp to Perm\n Salary: £38,300+ Overtime\n HGV Class 1 Drivers required for excellent temp-to-perm opportunities in Minworth! \n \nWe are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well established operation offering simple, desirable, RDC work on 4 on, 4 off shift patterns.\n \nThis is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a consistent rota, modern vehicles, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent position.\n \nPay & Earnings\n

\n
• Basic pay: £16.49 per hour +£1.00 per hour shift allowance (paid for every hour worked)

\n

• Effective hourly rate: £17.49 per hour

\n

• Based on guaranteed 12-hour shifts, this provides minimum annual earnings of approximately £38,300

\n

• Overtime shifts available at time and a half

\n

• Additional earning opportunities available through overtime

\nThe Role\n

\n
• Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs

\n

• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

\n

• 12-hour shift average

\n

• Start times between 02:00 and 07:00 driver preferences can be accommodated where reasonably possible

\n

• No handball and no self-tipping

\n

• All vehicles are 2023 or newer

\n

• All trucks are equipped with air conditioning, making them comfortable to drive during the warmer months

\n

• Temp-to-perm positions successful candidates will have the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent position

\nRequirements\n \nTo be considered for the role, you must:\n \n

\n
• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

\n

• Have a minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience

\n

• Have no more than 9 points for minor driving offences

\n

• Be able to successfully complete a driving assessment

\n

• Have a reliable and professional approach to work
