The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Stoke on Trent area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts
\n Pay Rates: £16.05 per hour PAYE with overtime at £23.43 after 40 hours.
\n Location: Stoke , ST1 5GP

\n

Job Type: Temp to perm The role:

\n

\n
• Up to 30 deliveries/ collections a day

\n

• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.

\n

• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses

\n

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring road worthiness and compliance with company standards.

\n

• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.

\n

• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

\n\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1)

\n

• 6 months experience required

\n

• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

\n

• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

\n

• Full understanding of WTD legislation.

\n

• Excellent communication skills.

\n

• A safety-first mindset.

\n\n
