Are you adedicated and safety-focused Shunter Driverwho is looking to develop within a reputable organisation. Would you like to join our logistics team at our GXO Rugby site (CV23 0WB) working on the Haier Contract

\n

Youll be working on a full-time permanentbasis, on any 5 out of 7 between the hours of 14:00 22:00

\n

What youll do on a typical day:

\n

\n
• Safely manoeuvre trailers and containers around the yards, using a Tug Shunter vehicle ensuring smooth and efficient site operations

\n

• Position trailers and vehicles ready for loading and unloading, always maintaining yard organisation

\n

• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects, damage or wear and tear promptly

\n

• Carry out daily yard checks, recoriding locations and number of trailers and demount boxes available for use

\n

• Work closely with warehouse, transport and site teams to ensure health and safety procedures and operational requirement

\n

• Operate counterbalance forklift equipment when required (full training will be provided)

\n\n

What you need to succeed at GXO:

\n

\n
• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement

\n

• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)

\n

• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• Minimum of 2 years driving and/or shunting experience

\n

• No more than 6 current penalty points

\n

• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years

\n\n
