We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy and well established operation.

\n

Shift Details:
\n Start times between 10:00pm and midnight
\n Working days: Monday night through to Saturday morning
\n Guaranteed 5 day working weeks

\n

Pay:
\n £17.20 per hour
\n Annual salary for pay parity: £42,942.53 based on a 48 hour working week

\n

Holiday:
\n 33 days annual leave per year, including Bank Holidays

\n

Key Duties:
\n Driving a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and responsibly
\n Completing local and regional deliveries
\n Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
\n Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported
\n Loading and unloading goods where required
\n Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
\n Using delivery notes and handheld devices where required
\n Carrying out multi drop deliveries when required
\n Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections
\n Communicating professionally with customers and site contacts
\n Reporting any vehicle defects, delays or delivery issues promptly
\n Following all company, health and safety and transport regulations
\n Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable
\n Working efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines

\n

Requirements:
\n Valid Class 2 driving licence
\n Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
\n Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
\n Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations
\n Good timekeeping and reliability
\n Ability to work night shifts
\n Professional attitude and good communication skills
