The Role

\n

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.

\n

Contract 1 White Goods & Food Distribution

\n

This role involves delivering a mixture ofwhite goods and food productsusing curtain-sided trailers to commercial and customer locations.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Safely operate Class 1 (Category CE) articulated vehicles.

\n

• Deliver white goods and food products across planned routes.

\n

• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections.

\n

• Ensure all loads are secured correctly before transport.

\n

• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.

\n

• Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery locations.

\n

• Minimal manual handling, with assistance available at most sites.

\n\n

Contract 2 White Goods Distribution

\n

This contract focuses on deliveringlarge household appliancesand is ideal for drivers who don't mind a more physically active role.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Safely deliver white goods to customer locations.

\n

• Operate Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.

\n

• Assist with loading and unloading where required.

\n

• Complete daily vehicle inspections and delivery documentation.

\n

• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

\n

• Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.

\n\n

What We're Looking For

\n

To be considered, you'll need:

\n

\n
• A valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence.

\n

• A valid Driver CPC qualification.

\n

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

\n

• Previous Class 1 driving experience.

\n

• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Rules and transport legislation.

\n

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

\n

• A reliable, punctual and professional approach.

\n

• Flexibility to work early morning start times between4:00am and 7:00am.

\n

• A good level of physical fitness, particularly for the white goods contract.

\n\n
