HGV Class 2 Driver (Tramping) Prescot Immediate Start

Location: Prescot
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Tramping)
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour, paid weekly, £50 per Night Out
Hours: Average 48 hours per week

Our client is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for tramping work based out of Prescot. This role is ideal for drivers comfortable with nights away and physical work.

Job Details:\n

• \n Monday to Friday work

\n

• \n Average 48 hours per week

\n

• \n Start times between 4am and 6am

\n

• \n 1013 drops per day

\n

• \n 23 nights out per week

\n

• \n Night out allowance: £50 per night (includes evening meal, drink, and breakfast)

\n

• \n Weekly pay every Wednesday

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

\n
• \n Nationwide deliveries as part of a tramping role

\n

• \n Handballing required (typically for items over 35kg)

\n

• \n Ensuring safe and timely deliveries

\n

• \n Vehicle checks and defect reporting

\n

• \n Completing delivery paperwork accurately

\nTraining & Induction:\n

\n
• \n Day 1 induction and assessment (approx. 4 hours)

\n

• \n Drivers will be buddied up for the first week for support

\nRequirements:\n

\n
• \n Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

\n

• \n Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• \n Previous experience 1 year required

\n

• \n Comfortable with manual handling and tramping

\n

• \n Reliable with a strong work ethic
