Workchain is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join a well-established logistics company based in the Bedford area. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, ongoing work with flexible shift patterns and regular long-distance runs.

The Role\n

• \n Delivering products to customers across the UK.

\n

• \n Completing long-distance trunking and delivery routes.

\n

• \n Tramping throughout the week with overnight stays in the vehicle.

\n

• \n Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

\n

• \n Completing transport documentation accurately.

\n

• \n Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time, and Road Transport Regulations.

• \n 06:00 AM starts

• \n Flexible shift patterns available

• \n Ongoing, full-time work

• \n Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

• \n Valid Driver CPC qualification.

\n

• \n Digital Tachograph card.

\n

• \n Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.

\n

• \n Previous tramping experience is advantageous.

\n

• \n Reliable, flexible, and able to work away from home during the week.

\n

• \n Strong understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.
