MERCHANDISER | ECOM & RETAIL | INTERNATIONAL RETAILER | HYBRID | 18 Month FTC
\n Working for one of the most recognisable retailers in The UK with one of the best merchandising functions in the country, this is a great opportunity for an experienced merchandiser, to strengthen their CV by getting this brand on there!
\n You will be working on one of my client's premier categories, leading a small team. You will have opportunity for continued development and real progression potential.
\n Responsibilities:

• \n Forecasting stock within inventory plans with the support of junior members of your team

\n

• \n Balancing pricing, risk profile and category, supplier profiles, colour, and mixes throughout all product ranges each season

\n

• \n Build and implement WSSI & OTB management to ensure sales and stock targets are achieved.

\n

• \n You will be responsible for identifying best sellers and move on's that the team need to focus on to generate new sales.

\n

• \n Review product and supplier mix's with your Buyer to ensure that the right product, quality and designs are being brought into the business

\n

• \n Building strategy, lessons learnt and weekly trade packs for the wider team, whilst being confident in presenting your suggestions and actions to senior management.

\n

• \n Establish a consistent pricing architecture across your ranges whilst being mindful of the competition and any promotional activity you wish to implement

\n

• \n Manage the range in conjunction with the Head of Merchandising, along with the Buying & Design team ensuring that the best product is being brought into the business

\n

• \n You will conduct market specific promotions and activity to grow the business, this is a great opportunity to have autonomy within a merchandising function

\n

• \n Analysing and collating data to provide support to the team in decision making.

\n

• \n Constantly monitor and review online performance in order to potentialise/maximise profit

\n

• \n Responsible for monthly Re-forecast whilst feeding back key actions to the Senior and Head of Merchandising.

\n

• \n You will protect your department by reviewing your cover each week and will make commercial decisions about getting new product or repeats into the business

\n

• \n You will be a motivating line manager who is approachable to all junior colleague

\n\n

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• \n Experience in at merchandiser level or higher

\n

• \n The ability to work independently and collaboratively

\n

• \n Excellent Planning and Organisational skills

\n

• \n Strong influencer

\n

• \n Great interpersonal skills
