We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a well-established general haulage operator based in Rugeley (WS15 1QU). This role offers consistent afternoon and evening starts, straightforward curtain-side work, and ongoing shifts for reliable drivers.

\n \n

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

\n

\n
• \n Completing general haulage deliveries and collections

\n

• \n Driving curtain-side articulated vehicles

\n

• \n Making 13drops per shift depending on route

\n

• \n Ensuring loads are secured correctly and transported safely

\n

• \n Completing PODs, delivery notes, and transport paperwork

\n

• \n Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

\n\n Hours:\n

\n
• \n Start times between 3:00pm and 6:00pm

\n

• \n Typical shifts of 1012 hours

\n

• \n Monday to Friday ongoing work

\n

• \n Weekend work available

\nRequirements:\n

\n
• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

\n

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• Previous Class 1 general haulage experience preferred

\n

• Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR/DD/IN)

\n

• Safety boots & hi-vis vest

\n\n
