Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -Brewery Shunter\n Location:Faversham, Kent\n Pay Rate:£14.98 p/h\n Shifts:Monday to Thursday (06:00 - 17:00) and Friday (10:00 - 18:00)\n Driver Type:Class 1 - Shunter Driver\n Experience:2 years Class 1 experience required\n \nOur customer operates a dedicated distribution site in Faversham, for their customer, one of the oldest brewers in the UK.\n \nThe Class 1 brewery shunter driver will support the movement of products between the brewery and the distribution facility.\n \nThe role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of stock between the brewery's production areas and distribution operation.\n \nThe role will include:\n \n

\n
• Delivering empty kegs, casks and trailers to the brewery

\n

• Returning loaded trailers containing full kegs, casks and bottled products to the distribution site

\n

• Supporting operations across the keg plant, cask plant and bottling plant

\n

• Collecting and delivering trailers in line with brewery requirements

\n

• Operating a drop and swap trailer movement process

\n

• Carrying out trailer curtain operation and securing loads correctly

\n

• Completing all movements safely and in accordance with site procedures

\nWhat We're Looking For\n \nTo be considered for this role, you'll need:\n \n

\n
• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

\n

• At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience

\n

• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) & avalid Digital Tachograph Card

\n

• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
