JOBPURPOSE
Tocontributetothedesign,deliveryandperformanceofcommissionedyouthtrainingporgrammes.Toensurethe
provisionofanengaginglearningprogrammewithintherelevantsubjectarea.Toprepare,deliver,assessandevaluate
thecoursetothespecifiedstandardrequiredbytheserviceandtheAwardingOrganisations.Toensurethat
administrativeproceduresrelatingtolearnerandclassdeliveryarecompletedaccuratelyandtoagreedcompliance
basedtargets.
KEYRESULTAREAS
1.Todesign,deliveranddevelopappropriateandrelevantlearningtopromotepositiveprogressionoflearners
2.Planthelearningandassessmentprocesswithlearners
3.Torecruitlearnerstotheprogramme
4.Inductionincluding,meetingandgreetingalllearners,completingallrelevanteligibilitydocumentationdelivering
thestructuredinductionsessionandmakingsurealllearnershaveaclearunderstandingoftheprogrammeand
futuregoals.
5.Todeliverpersonaldevelopmentworkshops
6.Responsibleforthedeliveryandsuccessfulcompletionofarangeofagreedqualificationsasperprogramme
specificationinatimelymanner
7.Tocollaboratewithkeystakeholders,partners,employers,trainingproviders,andsupportagenciestoensure
effectivereferralprocessesontotheprogramme
8.Tobuildandmaintainpositiverelationshipswithlearnersonaone-to-onebasisandgroupwork,motivatingand
encouragingthemtofulfiltheirpotential.
9.SupporttheManagertoembedacultureofachievementinthestaffandyoungpeoplewhotakepartinthe
programmesensuringhighretentionandtobeabletoaccessexitroutes
10.Tomanageweekly/monthlychecksofallcontractualperformancetargetsincluding(butnotexhaustive):
performance,contractual,qualityandcomplianceaccuratelyandwithinagreedtimescalestoensurethatcontract
requirementsaremetandfundingismaximised
11.Tomanagethemonitoringandcompletionoflearnerreviewsandtheprogrammesoutcomes
12.TobeawareofandimplementtheCouncil?sEquality,Health&SafetyandSafeguardingpolicies
13.Undertakeotherrelatedandreasonableduties,commensuratewiththesalarygradeandlevelofthepost.
