A leading FTSE 100 business is seeking an IP & Technology Legal Counsel to join its highly regarded legal team in a newly created role.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys working at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, AI and legal innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting and developing a global brand portfolio whilst supporting major technology and digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising on trademarks, brand protection and wider IP matters
- Supporting the management of a global IP portfolio
- Negotiating and advising on technology, SaaS and cloud services agreements
- Providing guidance on AI, licensing and technology-related legal issues
- Supporting legal technology, AI adoption and innovation projects
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, technology, procurement and commercial teams
About you:
- 5+ PQE lawyer
- Strong experience in IP and technology contracts
- Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills
- An interest in innovation, AI and legal technology
