HGV 2 DRIVER - West Drayton

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV 2 Driver to work with a leading catering and logistics provider in West Drayton. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused professional with experience in heavy goods transport to join a dedicated team.

Shift patterns:
\n * Working any 5 days out of 7
\n * Shifts from 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00
\n * Flexibility to work both shifts is required according to the rota

\n

Pay rates:
\n * 18.96 GBP hourly
\n * Overtime and Bank Holiday enhanced rates

\n

Must-have requirements for HGV 2 DRIVER:
\n * Valid UK HGV 2 Driving Licence
\n * CPC qualification and Driver Card
\n * Minimum 1 year HGV 2 driving experience
\n * No more than 3 penalty points on licence
\n * 5-year work history
\n * DBS check eligibility
\n * Willingness to complete CO-Course (assistance provided)
\n * No student visa

\n

Desirable requirements for HGV 2 DRIVER:
\n * Previous airport or logistics experience
\n * Experience with heavy manual handling
\n * Flexible availability for night shifts and overtime
\n * Good knowledge of Gatwick and surrounding routes

\n

Role for HGV 2 DRIVER:
\n * Driving heavy goods vehicles safely and efficiently
\n * Loading and unloading goods
\n * Completing safe, on-time deliveries
\n * Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
\n * Navigating local routes effectively
