HGV Class 1 Driver - Worksop

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver driver to work with a leading company in Worksop. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. You will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high vehicle standards, demonstrating a commitment to safety and professional excellence.

Shift patterns:
\n * ADOC shifts

Pay rates:\n \n* £18.20 - £19.69 -\n \n* Minimum 8 Hours Guaranteed\n \n* Pay increase after 12 weeks\n \n

Essential requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:
\n * Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
\n * Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
\n * 6 Months Minimum Class 1 Driving Experience
\n * No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT)

\n

Desirable requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver:
\n * Previous Class 1 driving experience (6+ months preferred)
\n * Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
\n * Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
\n * Good knowledge of the UK road network and major distribution centres
\n * Experience completing PODs, delivery paperwork, or handheld scanners
\n * Strong customer service skills when dealing with site staff or clients
\n * Experience with manual handling and safe loading/unloading
\n * Flexible and proactive attitude towards overtime and varied shifts
\n * Strong focus on road safety and vehicle checks
\n * Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
\n * Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n * Ability to work well as a team player
