Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
Start Time: 06:00
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

About the Role\n

Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a well-established client based in Bradford.

\n

The role is initially available as short-term cover, with the potential for a temp to perm position for the right driver.

\n

The work will mainly involve driving an 18-tonne Class 2 rigid vehicle, although there may be occasional days where an artic is required, which is why a Class 1 licence is essential.

The Role\n

06:00 start time, Monday to Friday
\n Delivering palletised frozen goods to various cash & carry sites
\n Chilled food deliveries to B&M stores across Yorkshire
\n Routes covering Yorkshire and Greater Manchester
\n Using a pump truck to move pallets from the vehicle
\n Deliveries either to the rear doors for forklift unloading or via the tail lift
\n Some manual handling involved
\n Mainly Class 2 rigid work with occasional Class 1 artic driving

Requirements\n

Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n Valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n Recent commercial HGV driving experience
\n Comfortable using a pump truck and tail lift
\n Comfortable with manual handling
\n Reliable, punctual and professional approach
\n Good customer service skills
