Company Secretarial Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading London professional services firm for an experienced governance professional to join its growing team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of predominantly listed clients, while contributing to team development and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of listed and private company clients
  • Lead Board and Committee meeting cycles, including agendas, papers and minutes
  • Support AGMs and other general meetings
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance on MAR, RNS announcements and governance disclosures
  • Oversee statutory registers and corporate records
  • Support annual reports, IPO preparation, M&A and other corporate projects
  • Develop junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities

Key Skills

  • CGI-qualified, qualified lawyer or chartered accountant
  • At least 4 years' relevant company secretarial experience, including 3+ years with listed companies
  • Strong Board and Committee support experience
  • Good knowledge of corporate governance, MAR and statutory compliance
  • Diligent Entities experience
  • Excellent communication, organisation and client management skills
  • Professional services experience is advantageous

Hybrid Working

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London office. Some UK travel for client meetings may also be required.
