Consultant in General Internal Medicine and Renal Medicine

The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of dual accredited Consultants, building the department of General Internal Medicine alongside specialty work. Inpatient work will be focussed around the new Internal Medicine ward with a 1:6 week and weekend frequency. The remaining 5 weeks will be predominately based in specialty work focussed around general nephrology including haemodialysis patient care, outpatient clinics and developing primary/secondary care interface. We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in building a department of internal medicine, as well as developing renal medicine services in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
