HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER MULTI-DROP DELIVERY / SOUTHAMPTON Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required. We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established logistics operation based in Southampton . This role involves multi-drop deliveries of kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering consistent weekday work with immediate starts available. Role : HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) Contract Type : Temp to Perm Shift Pattern : Monday to Friday Start Time : Between 5:00 am and 7:00 am Hours : Average 10-hour shifts Driver's Mate Provided PAY Standard Rate Weekday (MonFri) Basic Hourly Rate: £16.76 Working Time Regulations (WTR): £2.28 Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £19.04 Overtime: Not applicable Weekend Work: Not required Pay Frequency: Weekly RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Completing multi-drop deliveries. Delivering kegs and beverage supplies to pubs, restaurants and hotels. Working alongside a Driver's Mate. Using a sack barrow and pump truck to assist with deliveries. Ensuring all deliveries are accurate and accounted for. Conducting daily vehicle checks. Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence. Valid CPC Card. Digital Tachograph Card. Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements). Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, flexible and professional attitude. Comfortable with manual handling.
