Location: Swavesey, Cambridgeshire Salary: £15.50-16.00 P/H plus performance related bonuses Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am 17:00pm Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
Our client is a well-established and market-leading brand management and distribution business looking to recruit a permanent Bendi / Flexi Forklift Driver to support its busy warehouse operation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company where you will play a key role in ensuring stock is handled safely, efficiently, and accurately within the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock to and from storage locations
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch as required
Carrying out stock replenishment and inventory checks
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence or certification
Previous experience operating a Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual approach to work
