7.5T Delivery Driver

Are you an experienced 7.5T driver looking for a full-time driving opportunity with the potential to become permanent? We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the Southampton area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver to join a friendly team, delivering fixtures and fittings across the South Coast. What you need to know about this 7.5T driving role: Monday to Friday (07:00am start) 8-10-hour shifts 12-week temp-to-perm position Approximately 10-15 deliveries per day Driving both 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles, depending on delivery requirements Loading and unloading the vehicle Delivering fixtures and fittings to customers Completing delivery notes Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time What we require from you: A full and clean UK 7.5T driving licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card Previous delivery driving experience Good geographical knowledge of the South Coast and surrounding areas Excellent communication and customer service skills Previous experience using ratchet straps and tail lifts Reliable and punctual with fantastic timekeeping A professional attitude and positive approach to work Ability to represent the client professionally and follow all company policies and procedures Benefits of working with Driver Hire Southampton: Weekly pay PAYE and PAYE Advanced Payment options, ranging from £13.75-15.85 per hour A dedicated, experienced in-house recruitment team 24/7 assistance when you need it Training provided by our client CPC and licence upgrading opportunities through Driver Hire Access to a wide variety of driving opportunities across the local area The opportunity to secure a permanent position following the successful completion of the temp-to-perm periodDriver Hire is an established agency providing temporary and permanent staff to a wide range of companies throughout the local area.
