7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Havant.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing, full-time work with excellent earning potential, good hours, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Category C1 Driver , Truck Driver or Lorry Driver .
Rates of Pay:
£14.17 per hour basic rate
£21.66 per hour overtime rate
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
7.00am or 11.00am starts
Must be available for both start times

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver , you will work:
Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
Loading and unloading boxes and packages for onward delivery
Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver , you will need:
Valid UK Category C1 Licence
Minimum 24 months' experience driving C1 vehicles
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD codes)
Good communication and English language skills
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
Understanding of traffic laws and road safety
Training:
Vehicle safety and compliance training provided
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
