A temporary opportunity is available for an HGV Class 1 Driver to support transport operations in Sheffield. This role is suited to a reliable and safety-conscious driver who can complete scheduled collections and deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly
Complete planned collections and deliveries across scheduled routes
Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys
Secure loads correctly and follow road safety requirements
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
Communicate professionally with site contacts and the transport team
Report any vehicle, delivery or route issues promptly
Follow company procedures and relevant legal requirements

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Relevant professional driving entitlement and up-to-date CPC
Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused approach
Ability to work independently and manage scheduled deliveries
Professional communication skills
Previous commercial driving experience is desirable

Monday - Friday
Weekly pay
0500am start time
Ongoing
Handball involved
