Job description

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work with Unipart JCB, ST14 5JP , a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Thursday: 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00 - 12:00

Pay Rates

Standard: £14.16 per hour
Overtime: £21.24 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)

Requirements

Experience in manual handling, auditing parts, and general warehouse duties
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good stamina, as heavy lifting is involved
Ability to work well as part of a busy team

Responsibilities

Carry out general warehouse duties
Manually handle materials and components safely
Audit and check parts and materials
Move pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areas
Work as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle, and pedestrian movement
Pick and pack materials for the constantly moving production environment
Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
Adhere to site procedures and guidelines
