Care Assistant to English Literature Uni Graduate
Are you a recent graduate and not sure what to do next? Or are you someone with a passion for making a positive impact in others lives?
We are looking for a care assistant to support our client with personal care and daily living. Our client is a recent university graduate based at her family home in Ilkley. Our client is currently having a separate living space built in the garden, which will provide accommodation for the PAs. This space will be shared by the PAs on a week-on/week-off basis in line with their working pattern. Join her team of PAs to provide her personal care and independent living support.
Location: Ilkley
Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off
Start Date: ASAP
Pay & Benefits
Pay: £ 170 per day
Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be given
On-call support from client coordinator
About our client
Our client is a young university graduate in English Literature. She is back in her family home in Ilkley and require local PAs to support her on a daily basis.
Our client needs full-time comprehensive support to help meet her needs, including assisting her with mobility, personal care and general support.You will support our client at home on a live-in basis in Headingley, and will be required to provide daily support at her home in Ilkley over the holidays.
As well as being a book-lover, our client loves to get out and about, including going to restaurants, gigs and the cinema to name a few!

Reading, listening to music, and collecting records are my passions, and it would be amazing to find a PA who shares these interests and understands the challenges I face due to my Quadriplegic cerebral palsy.
Living with cerebral palsy means that I have difficulties accessing certain things compared to the average person. Transportation is a challenge for me, and I may need assistance getting around. Additionally, putting on some items of clothing in the morning can be a struggle. That's why I rely on a PA to help me with these tasks and ensure my comfort and independence.
Beyond the practical aspects of the role, it would be truly wonderful if you share my interests in reading and music. We could spend time discussing literature, recommending books to each other, or simply enjoying music together.

No care experience is needed as full bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided
