HGV Class 1 (CE) Day Drivers Various Shift Patterns Location: Corby Job Type: Full Time Driver Type: Class 1 (CE) Shift Type: Days Shift Pattern: Various Summary Motiva Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Day Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established general haulage operation based in Corby . We are looking for reliable and professional Class 1 drivers to join their general haulage fleet on regular day shifts. There are a number of shift patterns available, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers looking for consistent work and a shift pattern to suit their availability. Available Day Shift Patterns: 5/6 Days Monday Start Monday to Friday Days 1 in 3 Saturdays We will only consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months' commercial Class 1 (CE) driving experience. Preferred Experience General Haulage Curtainside Trailers Ratchet Strapping The Role Involves Ensuring vehicles comply with all legal requirements and reporting any issues to the relevant transport team Ensuring the security and accuracy of deliveries and loads in your charge Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively Driving in a safe and efficient manner at all times Complying with health and safety standards Adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations Completing all relevant delivery and vehicle documentation Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly Working professionally and maintaining a high standard of customer service Driver Requirements You must hold: A valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card A full Driver Qualification Card (DQC/CPC) At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience Previous general haulage experience is preferred, along with experience using curtainside trailers and ratchet strapping.
