People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver Loader to join our well-established client based in Bristol . This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Refuse Driver, Recycling Driver, Waste Collection Driver, RCV Driver or Driver Loader . Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 – 14:18 • 39-hour working week Rates of Pay • £17.57 per hour • £35.54 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays) • Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Saturday • Weekly Pay Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver Loader , you will receive the following benefits: • Excellent Hourly Rates • Weekly Pay • Monday to Friday Working Pattern • No Weekend Working • 25 Days' Annual Leave Plus Bank Holidays • 5% Employer Pension Contribution • Salary Sacrifice Electric Car Scheme • BUPA Health Cash Plan • Free Eye Tests • On-site Physiotherapist • Employee Assistance Programme • Reward Gateway Discounts at Over 900 Retailers • £200 Employee Referral Bonus • Long Service Awards Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver Loader , your duties will include but not be limited to: • Driving Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicles safely and efficiently across Bristol • Working alongside the loading crew to collect waste and recycling materials • Loading refuse and recycling materials when required • Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting any defects • Using in-cab technology to complete routes and record collections • Providing a professional service to members of the public and commercial customers • Following all road transport legislation, health and safety procedures, and company policies Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver Loader , you will need: • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual loading duties • A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude • A good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and safe driving practices Desirable Experience • Previous refuse or recycling collection experience would be advantageous • Experience operating Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) would be beneficial • Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience Training Provided • Full paid induction programme • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your employment Apply If you're looking for a long-term driving opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, no weekend working, paid training, and genuine career opportunities, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
