HGV Class 1 Driver – Paisley – Nightshift People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Paisley . This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver . Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Night shift starting at 6:00pm Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour Overnight allowance Benefits: As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include: Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time Essential Skills: The skills required as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: Valid Category CE driving licence No more than six penalty points for minor infringements Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English A professional and reliable approach to work Strong awareness of health and safety procedures Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving xrnqpay experience Training: Driver assessment required prior to start Full industry-related training provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable role with excellent pay and long-term opportunities, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
