Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour Start Time: 06:00 Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Job Type: Short-Term Cover / Temp to Perm Available About the Role Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a well-established client based in Bradford. The role is initially available as short-term cover , with the potential for a temp to perm position for the right driver. The work will mainly involve driving an 18-tonne Class 2 rigid vehicle , although there may be occasional days where an artic is required, which is why a Class 1 licence is essential. The Role 06:00 start time, Monday to Friday Delivering palletised frozen goods to various cash & carry sites Chilled food deliveries to B&M stores across Yorkshire Routes covering Yorkshire and Greater Manchester Using a pump truck to move pallets from the vehicle Deliveries either to the rear doors for forklift unloading or via the tail lift Some manual handling involved Mainly Class 2 rigid work with occasional Class 1 artic driving Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card Recent commercial HGV driving experience Comfortable using a pump truck and tail lift Comfortable with manual handling Reliable, punctual and professional approach Good customer service skills Whats On Offer £16.50 per hour Bradford-based work Short-term cover or temp to perm position available Monday to Friday work Mixture of Class 2 rigid and occasional Class 1 artic driving Palletised chilled and frozen food deliveries Weekly pay through Recruit A Driver Why Work With Recruit A Driver?
