Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Operator to join our manufacturing team, committed to delivering high-quality food products in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves operating production machinery, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in supporting our mission of providing safe, nutritious, and consistent food items to consumers worldwide.

Hours of work: Between 5pm to 5am shifts can finish between12.30am - 5am

Location: Duncrue

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor food production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes
  • Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols to maintain product quality and safety standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identify mechanical issues, and perform basic troubleshooting or report problems promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with hygiene regulations and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and packaging materials as required for production runs
  • Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and quality checks using basic math skills
  • Support food safety initiatives by adhering to all safety procedures and participating in regular training sessions
  • You will be required work with animal meat and fluids.

Experience

  • Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and perform minor troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, portioning, and data recording
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and work effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workplace
