A fantastic Primary School in the Borough of Brent is looking to appoint a Nursery or Reception Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join their successful Early Years team. As a Nursery or Reception Teaching Assistant (Level 3) , you will work closely with Class Teachers, Early Years Practitioners and support staff to deliver high-quality provision across Nursery and Reception.

What will you be doing as a Nursery or Reception Teaching Assistant (Level 3)?
Supporting children across Nursery and Reception on a 1:1, small-group and whole-class basis
Delivering Phonics, Reading, Writing, Spelling and early Maths activities
Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through creative, practical and play-based learning
Leading targeted interventions for children who require additional support
Supporting pupils with mild to moderate SEN, including ASD, ADHD and Speech & Language needs
Encouraging children to develop confidence, independence and positive communication skills
Creating stimulating learning areas, displays and classroom resources
Supporting children with routines, transitions, behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with teaching staff to monitor progress and identify areas for further support
Nursery or Reception Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Candidate Specification
Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification - CACHE or equivalent
Previous experience within Nursery, Reception or another Early Years setting
Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
Confident supporting early Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy
Creative, enthusiastic and proactive approach to working with young children
Comfortable working as part of a busy and collaborative Early Years team
Strong communication skills and a nurturing personality
