HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Willenhall, West Midlands. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver. Shifts : Monday to Friday – 07:00 AM Start Rates of Pay : From £19.00 to £21.23 per hour (after 12 weeks) Benefits

Duties

• Carrying out RDC deliveries
• Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential

Skills

• Valid UK Category CE Licence
• Minimum of 2 years experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card
• Good spoken and written English
• Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills Desirable

Experience

• Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided
