Salaried GP – Fixed-Term

Location: Canterbury, Kent, CT2
Contract: 7-month fixed term, with potential to extend
Sessions: Up to 5 sessions per week
Clinical System: EMIS
Sites: Working across two practice sites
Preferred Days: Monday, Thursday & Friday

We are working with a forward-thinking GP practice in Canterbury, Kent who are looking for a GP to join their team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, with potential for the role to be extended.

There are two options available, depending on the GP's interests and experience.

Option 1 General Practice

£11,500 to £12,500 per session

• Up to 5 sessions per week
• Monday, Thursday and Friday preferred
• 7-month fixed-term contract
• Potential to extend
• EMIS clinical system
• 10-minute appointments
• Approximately 28 patients per day
• Combination of face-to-face and triage
• No home visits
• No duty GP days
• Working across two practice sites

This would suit a GP looking for a straightforward fixed-term position with a good balance of face to face and triage work.

Option 2 Frailty Service

£13,000 to £14,000 per session

A fantastic opportunity for a GP with an interest in frailty, elderly care and neighbourhood health.

The role will support the practice with the delivery of frailty and neighbourhood health services, including:

• Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGA)
• Developing and reviewing individualised care plans
• Conducting Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) for frail and complex patients
• Completing and reviewing ReSPECT forms and advance care planning
• Supporting the management of patients in care homes
• Supporting the wider frailty and neighbourhood health service

Home visits for housebound patients are not required.
