We’re excited to be bringing the spirit of Barcelona toMere Green and are looking for an experienced, warm, and engaging General Manager to take full ownership of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a natural host and people-first leader who thrives on being on the floor, building strong teams, and creating exceptional guest experiences from day one.

The Role:

• Lead the successful day-to-day running of the restaurant
• Take full ownership of the front-of-house operations and guest experience
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
• Set the standard on the floor and the kitchen through visible, hands-on leadership
• Drive service & food quality, atmosphere, and consistency
• Oversee events, private bookings, and group reservations
• Work closely with directors to deliver commercial and cultural success
• For an outstanding candidate moving a substantial distance we can discuss help with relocation

About You:

• Proven quality restaurant experience as a General Manager or in some cases an experienced DGM looking for your first big break as a GM
• A natural host who connects easily with guests
• Warm, confident, and calm under pressure
• Leads by example with positivity and kindness
• Takes full ownership and pride in their venue

Let’s break the package down:

• up to £44,000 base salary
• Up to £6,000 achievable performance bonus
• Service charge average split: up to £10,000
