Cranstoun provides services for adults and young people who need support around alcohol and other drugs, domestic abuse, housing and criminal justice. Our job is to make people feel safe and to empower them with the tools to create lasting change and reduce harm.

Our rapid growth in recent years created a concomitant requirement for stronger governance, structures and processes, and the board has set a clear direction of travel for the organisation and the new Chief Executive, with a focus on consolidation, confidence and clarity of purpose.

We want you to maintain our high standards of delivery, with consistent standards of governance, quality and assurance across every service. You will ensure we remain a safe, effective and well-led organisation, committed to continuous improvement and sustainable business growth, where everything we do is underpinned by our robust quality and safeguarding framework.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, expert Chief Executive. Candidates are likely to bring recent experience of senior executive leadership in a comparable organisation, with a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of our business model. Insight into the effective management of commissioned contracts, the ability to build and maintain commissioner relationships, and a confident grasp of complex, regulated service delivery are all essential.
