An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Statistician to join a well-established, internationally recognised specialist biometrics CRO.

With more than 30 years of experience and a team of over 150 experts, the organisation provides biostatistics, statistical programming, clinical data management and medical writing services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical-device companies worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, technically focused organisation where statisticians work closely with programmers and Data Management teams. You will have direct client contact, influence study design and provide strategic statistical input across a varied portfolio of clinical development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead statistical activities from study design through to final reporting
• Develop SAPs, including estimands, statistical methodology, analysis models and mock shells
• Advise clients on study design, sample-size calculations and protocol development
• Coordinate statisticians and programmers to deliver high-quality SDTM, ADaM and TFL outputs
• Perform statistical QC and validation of complex analyses and datasets
• Act as the primary statistical contact for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients
• Support DMCs, regulatory inspections, submissions and client audits
• Contribute to proposals, bid defences and project budgets

What You Need

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics or a related discipline
• At least three years’ experience as a Statistician within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
• Strong knowledge of statistical methodology and clinical-trial design
• Experience developing SAPs and contributing to study design and protocols
• Experience leading statistical activities across clinical trials
• Strong knowledge of SAS, CDISC standards and regulatory requirements
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients
