Agile Project Manager - ASAP Hire

• Initial Contract Length: 3 Months initially (high likely hood of extension)
• Work Location: 1-2 Days onsite (Flexible)

We are partnering with a leading global consultancy to support the delivery of a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation programme for a major player in the UK utilities sector, a critical initiative reshaping how the organisation monitors, manages and optimises its infrastructure through advanced data, AI and digital innovation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of Asset Intelligence initiatives, including digital twins, asset monitoring, network optimisation, and predictive analytics pilots
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams data engineers, operational SMEs, suppliers, and innovation specialists
• Maintain Agile delivery cadences to accelerate development and support iterative release
• Facilitate testing and validation of new technologies, including computer vision, ML analytics, IoT/telemetry, and AI-based decision support
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Act as key point of contact between internal departments and external parties (contractors, regulators, customers)
• Manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical audiences via clear reporting and updates
• Ensure data-driven solutions comply with data governance, cyber security, and operational integrity standards
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery boards (Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello)
• Drive adherence to regulatory, safety, and QA standards, including audits and readiness reviews
• Support transition of pilot technologies into scaled BAU deployment

What We're Looking For:

• Awareness of emerging tech AI, digital twins, computer vision, sensing
• Strong risk and compliance management, with mitigation experience
• Excellent stakeholder management across engineers, regulators, customers, and suppliers
• Cross-functional leadership across innovation, design, operations, and IT
• Familiarity with MSP, Visio, and MS Office suite
