Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Residential Design Architect to join a highly respected London studio renowned for delivering design-led residential developments and transformative urban regeneration projects. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to the design and development of landmark schemes across Central London and wider mixed-use regeneration masterplans.


This role is ideal for an ambitious architect with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience who is passionate about residential design and thrives in a creative and supportive environment. You will play a key role in shaping high-quality design proposals from concept through planning and developed design stages, helping to create places that make a lasting impact.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop creative and technically robust design proposals for large-scale residential and mixed-use projects
  • Contribute to projects from concept design through planning and design development stages
  • Prepare compelling presentations, visualisations, and client-facing design material
  • Produce and coordinate project information using Revit and BIM workflows
  • Collaborate with internal design teams, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve design challenges
  • Ensure schemes respond effectively to planning requirements, current legislation, and design standards
  • Support the delivery of High Risk Building projects, maintaining compliance throughout the design process
  • Present design ideas confidently in internal reviews, client meetings, and design workshops


Requirements:


  • ARB registered Architect with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Demonstrable residential design flair supported by a strong portfolio of built or planning-stage projects
  • Experience working on complex residential developments and large-scale urban regeneration schemes
  • Proven involvement in High Risk Building projects
  • Strong understanding of current UK legislation, regulations, and residential design guidance
  • Experience using rendering, visualisation, and presentation software
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Previous experience on Prime Central London residential projects would be highly advantageous
  • The right to live and work in the UK - sponsorship is not possible
