An Outstanding Primary school in Brent, North West London, is searching for a talented Learning Support Assistant to join its team from September. This full-time Learning Support Assistant job runs until July 2027 and offers an outstanding opportunity to gain specialist SEND experience supporting children in EYFS and KS1 with autism and SEMH needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with children who require additional support to access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence within the classroom. This Learning Support Assistant role is perfect for a Psychology graduate, aspiring Primary Teacher or future Educational Psychologist looking to build meaningful school-based experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
Support children with autism and SEMH on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Deliver targeted interventions across phonics, literacy and numeracy
Encourage positive behaviour, communication and emotional development
Adapt learning activities to meet individual SEND needs
Work alongside teachers and the SENDCo to monitor pupil progress
Ideal Candidate for this Brent Primary School:
Graduate with a 2:1 or First-Class degree
Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or supporting SEND is highly desirable
Strong understanding of autism, SEMH or additional learning needs
Aspiring teacher, Psychology graduate or future Educational Psychologist
